Anzac Display - Pammessinian Social Club of Papaflessas
Recently, I was fortunate to be invited to visit the Anzac Display at the Pam-Messinian Social Club of Papaflessas hall at Gooch Street, Thornbury. I attended along with some other members of the Lemnos Gallipoli Commemorative Committee, including Vice-President Christina Despoteris.
This display include a dedication to Kiwi Anzac Jack Hinton who won a VC at the battle of Kalamata in April 1941 (above).

Well done to Paul Sougleris and the Pam-Messinians on their display, as well as Paul's great work in tracking down more of the Hellenic link to Anzac.
