Greek Campaign Kalamata Commemorative Service 2018 - Save the Date

The UK-based Brotherhood of the Veterans of the Greek Campaign 1940-41 has advised that the Municipal authorities in Kalamata have confirmed the date for next years commemorative service in Kalamata.
The service will be held at the Greek campaign memorial in the park near the waterfront on the 8th May 2018.
This is a very important service which takes place every year and has been attended by British campaign veterans, diplomatic representatives (from the UK and Australia),  military representatives (Greek, Australian and British) and many more. Last year representatives of descendants of soldiers who service in the Palestine units of the British Army attended and conducted a service at the Kalamata waterfront. Attendees vary from year to year, but it is always well attended.
If you are planning to be in Greece at this time and wish to attend please save the date and make your way to Kalamata for the 8th May.
As more details become available I will post them.

Secretary
Lemnos Gallipoli Commemorative Committee
