Peter Corlett, OAM, recently completed his commemorative statue of Ted Kenna, VC.
Private Ted Kenna, from Hamilton in Victoria, was serving with the 2/4th Australian Infantry Battalion in the Pacific Theater in World War Two, when he was awarded his Victoria Cross. He won the award for his courage and bravery in the successful attack on an enemy bunker on 15th May 1945.

The Ted Kenna Project raised funds for the project from various sources, including a Victorian Government $25,000 contribution tthrough a Veterans Council Grants Program veterans' fund.

Peter is internationally renowned having completed many commemorative sculptures both in Australia and overseas, including the "Cobbers" statue at Fromelles in France. He
is also working with our Committee to develop a fitting commemorative statue commemorating the Anzac connection to Lemnos.
