Peter Corlett's new John Monash Statue - Monash University, Clayton
In April this year, Peter Corlett's new statue of John Monash was unveiled at Melbourne's Monash University.
John Monash spent time on Lemnos during the Gallipoli campaign - especially as commander of the Sarpi Anzac Rest Camp. He also wrote of his visit to the natural springs at Therma.
Peter Corlett created the Lemnos Gallipoli Memorial in Albert Park for our Committee.
Well done Peter. Try and visit his new creation, in front of the Menzies Building, Monash University, Clayton campus.
The following report is from the Monash University Alumni Magazine, Monash Life.
