This will be an exciting and memorable occasion on Lemnos.
It will be the first time that the Armistice of Mudros has been commemorated on the Island where it was signed aboard the HMS Agamemnon anchored in Mudros Bay on 30th October 1918. Coming into effect at noon on 31st October, this Armistice brought to an end the First World War across the Ottoman Empire.

Museums
During the morning and afternoon, the following museums and cultural centres will be open for visitors:
- Moudros Cultural Centre
- Mudros Historical and Maritime Tradition Information Centre
- Portianou Cultural Centre
- Portianou Folklore Museum
- Archaeological Museum of Myrina
