Lemnos Gallipoli Memorial Statue Event - You're invited


Victoria's classically-inspired Victorian Parliament building will be the location of the inaugural fundraising event for our Lemnos Gallipoli Memorial Statue fund.

The event will be held on an important day of remembrance - 30th October. On this day, 75 years ago the Armistice of Mudros was signed. This took place on on the HMS Agamemnon in Mudros Harbour in Lemnos, the Treaty ending the war on the East, vindicating those who had fallen at Gallipoli.

This cocktail event will feature the unveiling of the model of our Memorial Statue. It will include key presentations on the link between Lemnos, Gallipoli and Melbourne. Guest speakers will include our sculptor, Peter Corlett OAM, the Hon Ted Baillieu, former Premier of Victoria and Chair of the Victorian Anzac Centenary Committee, and Derryn Hinch, Veteran Journalist and Broadcaster.

Tickets are $100. If you are interested in attending this important event, please book early as tickets are limited and it will sell out.
