Lemnos Gallipoli Memorial Statue - Pledge Document Released

Today the Lemnos Gallipoli Commemorative Committee released its Memorial Statue Pledge Document.

The major project of the Committee is the erection of a lasting memorial to Lemnos' role in Australia's Anzac story, focusing on the brave Australian nurses and the wounded and sick Anzac soldiers that they cared for in 1915. Australia's leading commemorative sculptor, Peter Corlett, OAM, is designing this memorial - the first major memorial to Lemnos and Australia's WW1 nurses.

The Pledge document explains the purpose of the Memorial, the connection between Lemnos, Anzac, the Nurses and the City of Port Phillip.

And it contains a pledge form for donors to make financial commitments to the funding of the project.

If you would like more information, please contact us asap.

If you would like to make a pledge to make our Memorial Statue a reality, please download the attached document and return to us at the addresses listed.
